My name is Sue McIntyre and I am a Guilford resident running for re-election to the office of TOWN SUPERVISOR. I ask for your VOTE this NOVEMBER. 5. worked in partnership with the Soil and Water Conservation District and at no cost to the Town retained a highly experienced and respected dam engineer necessary for the Guilford Lake Dam inspection and evaluation requirements of NYSDEC and our insurance carrier,
  6. actively supporting the Guilford Fire District in their fund-raising efforts for a new building,
  7. successfully negotiated new contracts with both our highway crew labor union and the Mount Upton Fire Department - Borden's Hose Company,
  8. canoe regatta
  9. continued to support our highway crew with the equipment and resources necessary to maintain our town roads,
  10. responded to the NYS Comptroller audit with measures that improve the Town's finances,
  11. made real progress in addressing distressed properties for the protection of residents and townwide pride,
  12. and we have partnered with local groups including 4 Towns Forward and Guilford Trash Troopers supporting private investment of muscle and money that benefits our community.

Throughout my career I have focused on getting the job done effectively and efficiently working closely with businesses, residents, other Town Supervisors, County officials, and State and Federal agencies. I ask for your support now and in November to continue this work. Please VOTE GUILFORD UNITED and vote for me, Sue McIntyre as your Town Supervisor, and Tom Ives and Matt Retz to Town Council.
